ADVANTAGES
Renewable - Renewable fuels are obtained from plants and animals  that are able to store energy harnessed from the sun. Renewable fuels are replenished by natural processes at the same rate or faster than they are consumed.
Also the CO² released into the atmosphere when biodiesel is burned is recycled by growing plants, which are later processed into fuel

Environmental - Biodiesel emissions are cleaner than fossil fuel emissions and reduces greenhouse gas emission, deforestation, pollution, and the rate of biodegradation.

Independence - Decreased dependency on foreign oil
